What is OneBall?
OneBall lets you play football in Thessaloniki without a full team. Find an open 6-a-side to 8-a-side match, take one spot, and play.
How does Solo Mode work?
In Solo Mode, you browse available casual games, pick the one that fits, and join with one credit. You'll be matched with other players and teams are balanced at match time.
How does Team Mode work?
In Team Mode, you create a team with at least 7 players. Your captain can enter competitive matches against other teams. Every game has a referee and affects your team's ELO rating.
Where are matches played?
Right now public games are played at Football Block in Thessaloniki. Times, pitches and open spots show up in the app and on our Thessaloniki pages.
What are credits?
Credits are the in-app currency. One credit equals one game and costs €7. Students with a student pass pay €5.60, and subscriptions or XP discounts lower the price further. Leave a casual game at least 8 hours before kickoff and you get your credit back.
What is XP?
Every game and every action in the app earns you XP. Level up to unlock credit discounts and free credits.
How do payments work?
Pay by card or Apple/Google Pay through Stripe, or with IRIS through viva.com. We never store card details on our servers.
Are there tournaments?
Yes. Your team enters from the app: a Cup (knockout) or a League (groups, then knockouts), with fixtures, a referee, standings and a cash prize. Current tournaments, teams and results are on the Tournaments page.
How do referees work?
Every team mode match has a real, onboarded referee. Referees record the score, pick the match MVP, and help keep play fair. Interested in refereeing? You can apply on our page.
Is OneBall free to download?
Yes, the app is free to download. You only pay when you buy credits to join matches.
How does the ELO system work?
Each team starts at a baseline ELO of 1000. When your team wins, ELO goes up; when you lose, it goes down. The change depends on the relative strength of both teams. Track standings in the app leaderboard.
Can I play without a team?
Absolutely. Solo Mode is built for exactly that. Join any casual game as an individual player with no team required.
