What is OneBall?
OneBall is a pickup football app launching first in Thessaloniki. It helps you find and join matches near you—either as an individual player or with your team.
How does Solo Mode work?
In Solo Mode, you browse available casual games, pick the one that fits, and join with one credit. You’ll be matched with other players and teams are balanced at match time.
How does Team Mode work?
In Team Mode, you create a team with at least 7 players. Your captain can enter competitive matches against other teams. Every game has a referee and affects your team’s ELO rating.
What are credits?
Credits are the in-app currency. One credit = one match. You buy credit packs with real money (around €6–€7 per credit depending on your plan) and spend them to join games.
What is the early-bird perk?
If you join the waitlist before launch, you’ll be able to buy credits at the Plus subscriber price (€6.00 each) for 3 months after you create your account—no subscription required. Just use the same email in the app.
When does OneBall launch?
We’re starting in Thessaloniki first. Join the waitlist to be the first to know the exact date.
How do referees work?
Every team-mode match has a real, onboarded referee. Referees record the score, pick the match MVP, and help keep play fair. Interested in refereeing? You can apply on our page.
Is OneBall free to download?
Yes, the app is free to download. You only pay when you buy credits to join matches.
How does the ELO system work?
Each team starts at a baseline ELO of 1000. When your team wins, ELO goes up; when you lose, it goes down. The change depends on the relative strength of both teams. Track standings in the app leaderboard.
Can I play without a team?
Absolutely. Solo Mode is built for exactly that—join any casual game as an individual player with no team required.
